Two men have been arrested in relation to the fire at a headshop in Sligo town this morning.
The alarm was raised shortly after 12.30am when a fire broke out at the shop on Connolly Street.
Several units of Sligo Fire Brigade managed to get the blaze under control however extensive smoke damage was caused to the premises.
No one was injured in the blaze.
The scene has been preserved pending a forensic investigation which will take later place today.
The men aged 21 and 31 were arrested in the early hours of the morning and are being held at Sligo Garda station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984.
In Belfast the PSNI are investigating the cause of a house fire on the Ballysillan Road last night.
A man and two women were hospitalised suffering from smoke inhalation.
