Two Britons died in last week's bombings in the Red sea resort of Sharm el-Sheikh and eight are still missing, the Foreign Office said in London today.
At least 64 people in total were killed last Saturday in bombings at three sites in the worst attack in Egypt since 1981.
"A further Briton has been identified today, bringing the total number of those who have died to two," a Foreign Office spokeswoman said.
"We believe that a further eight people were involved and are likely to have been victims."
The Foreign Office have not named the Egyptian victims but family members have told media that Keri Davies, 29, was killed and that his American partner, Kristina Miller, 26, was missing.
Another family said two of their children - Jez Lakin, 28, and Annalie Vickers, 31, - were also missing and presumed dead.
Several other families have travelled out to the resort to look for missing relatives.
The spokeswoman said the government was continuing to help the Egyptian authorities in identifying the victims.
Prosecutors in Egypt said on Wednesday that 64 people had died. Investigators have said they suspect a local group to be behind the attacks.
