Three men were stabbed to death in the North in separate incidents over Christmas. Two people have been charged.
Ms Charmaine Collette McElwee (21), of Rathbeg Crescent, Limavady, Co Derry, was charged in connection with the death of Mr Eric Connor (37), who was stabbed at a house in the town on Christmas Eve.
She was remanded in custody to appear at Limavady Magistrates' Court on January 9th.
The RUC said it was not looking for anybody else in connection with the incident.
Mr Thomas Francis Stokes (17), of Springfield Road, Stamford Hill, London, also appeared in court accused of murder following a fatal stabbing in Derry early on Christmas Day. He was remanded in custody to appear in court on January 8th.
The victim was Mr Martin Mongan (23), who died in hospital following the attack at a house at Drumard Park, Ballymagroarty, in Derry city. It is understood Mr Mongan was stabbed in an upstairs bedroom. He was taken to Altnagelvin hospital but was dead on arrival.
Meanwhile, detectives have been given more time to question a man in connection with the death of Mr William Morrison (38) in east Belfast on Christmas Eve.
Mr Morrison's body was found with stab wounds after police were called to a mid-terrace house at Portallo Street, off the Woodstock Road, shortly after 5 a.m. An RUC spokesman said neither Mr Morrison's death nor the two incidents in Derry were being treated as sectarian or paramilitary-related. Police were still trying to establish the motive for Mr Morrison's killing, he added.
