Two men arrested on Friday in connection with the death of a man in Limerick on Thursday night have appeared before a special sitting of the District Court in the city charged with assault.
Mr Ryan, 25, from the Farranshone area of the city, was found by a passer-by under the Shannon Bridge at Condell Road at around 11pm on Thursday.
He had suffered serious head and back injuries.
A third man arrested yesterday in Limerick was also scheduled to appear in court in relation to an outstanding warrant.
