A woman in her 50s died when the car she was travelling in collided with a wall in Co Kilkenny this morning.
The incident happened at Warrenstown near Johnstown shortly after 8am.
The driver of the car and two other passengers were taken to St Lukes Hospital in Kilkenny but are not thought to be seriously injured.
No other vehicle was involved in the incident.

Meanwhile, a 16-year-old boy has also died following a traffic accident in Co Longford.
The incident happened shortly after 5am at Drumlish, Co Longford.
A garda spokesman said that no other vehicles were involved in the incident.
