TWO men have died after separate stabbing incidents early yesterday morning.
A 44 year old father of four died after being stabbed at his flat at Coultry Road, Ballymun, Dublin, at about 5 a.m. He was named as Mr Vincent McMackin. A man was later arrested and questioned at Santry Garda station. He was released and a file is being prepared for the DPP.
Mr McMackin is originally from Co Tyrone but had lived in Dublin for some years. His four children are aged three to 12.
A 32 year old woman is expected to appear at Ballymena magistrates court this morning, charged with the murder of Mr Thomas McDonnell (40). He died after being stabbed at his home in McNeill Park, Moorefields, Ballymena.
