Two men are expected to appear at Dublin District Court this morning in connection with the seizure by gardai in Dublin of heroin with an estimated street value of £100,000.
Gardai, who had been keeping a number of suspects under surveillance in the city, stopped a van travelling through Ballyfermot on Saturday afternoon. Officers searched the van, stopped at Clifden Road, and recovered the heroin.
Two local men, aged 19 and 20, were arrested and held at Ballyfermot Garda station.
