Three young men were arrested after two Garda patrol cars were rammed in Dublin this morning by a car, containing four young men, which Gardaí believe had been stolen.
One garda is being treated in hospital for a hand injury sustained in the incident.
The incident took place at around 4.15 a.m in the Donore Avenue near the South Circular Road in the south inner city.
Four people were arrested at the scene and one was subsequently released. Two are now being held in Kevin Street Garda Station, while the third youth is being held in Kilmainham Garda station.
