Two teenage girls have been reported as missing from their homes over Christmas.

Two teenage girls have been reported as missing from their homes over Christmas.

Gardai at Schull, Co Cork, yesterday appealed for information on a 17-year-old girl, missing from the area for over a week.

Susanna Stedry, a German national, left Schull at 8 a.m. on December 19th to go to school in Skibbereen. She is described as five feet tall, of slim build with long blond hair. Anyone with information should contact gardai at Schull on (028) 28111.

Meanwhile, an appeal went out yesterday for information about a missing 16-year-old. Carol Gowdy has not been seen since leaving her home in Conlig, Co Down, last Saturday.
