Two people were before Killarney District Court yesterday on accessory charges relating to the manslaughter of James Brazier (30) in a house in Killarney in April 2007.
The hearing was told that brothers Gerard (28) and Shane O’Riordan (19), Arbutus Grove, Killarney, Co Kerry, had been convicted last summer of Mr Brazier’s manslaughter.
Now accessory charges have been brought against two other men. Thomas O’Brien (32), Pinewood Estate, Killarney, is charged that on April 15th, 2007, he drove the O’Riordan brothers from the home of Daniel O’Riordan into Northern Ireland, knowing they were guilty of the manslaughter of Mr Brazier.
He is also charged with helping provide a change of clothing for them on the date.
Daniel O’Riordan, Ballydribeen, Killarney, was charged with allowing Shane and Gerard O’Riordan to change their clothing in his house knowing them to be guilty of an offence.
