A man in his 30s was killed this morning in Co Clare when the car in which travelling crashed into a ditch.
It happened at around 8.15 in Scartnagun near Killenana. The man's body was removed to Limerick Regional Hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
Meanwhile a 50-year-old woman has died in hospital after being injured in a car crash in Co Wicklow.
The woman was the driver of car that was in a head-on collision with a van late last night on the N11 at Kilcroney near Bray in Co Wicklow.

The driver of the van was also injured. Gardaí are appealing for witnesses.
