Like his Dublin counterpart Louth manager Eamonn McEneaney has named two championship debutants in his starting XV ahead of the counties' quarter-final clash at Croke Park on Sunday.
After regular appearances in the league this year Conor McGuinness will start at centre half-back as McEneaney looks to cope without the injured Colin Goss and Peter McGinnity.
Derek Crilly debuts at left half-forward after he too featured prominently in the league and will be a danger to the Dubs from set-pieces as well as play.
Mark Stanfield and Adrian Reid complete the half-forward line.
All-Star nominee Paddy Keenan partners Ronan Carroll in midfield where they will face one Dublin's debutants Eamonn Fennell.
Paddy Andrews at left half-forward is Dublin's other first-timer.
Dublin forward Conal Keaney has echoed his captain's comments and warned against complacency ahead of the meeting with the Wee county.
As Alan Brogan has been keen to point out, any team that arrives at Croke Park to face Dublin will not be short of motivation.
Predictably, Keaney is singing from the same sheet but after a turbulent league campaign resulted in a litany of suspensions and culminated in abject capitulation against Westmeath in the final, Dubs fans will hope everyone on the team is getting the message.
"We have a few suspensions (Ciaran Whelan, Bernard Brogan, Paul Flynn and Diarmuid Connolly) so it's going to be a tough game and they will have seen us all through the league in the big games," Keaney said.
"They will have their homework done, no doubt about it. I think we played them in a challenge a couple of years ago after the Longford game and they really put it up to us - they are a really hard working team. We can't be complacent at all."
