The armed robbery of a Co Cork shop in which two masked men escaped with an undisclosed sum of money is being investigated.
According to the Gardathe robbery in the Poulavon area of Ballincollig took place shortly before 4 p.m. One of the men had what appeared to be a handgun.
No one was injured in the robbery and the men escaped in a Toyota car in the direction of Kilumney.
Both men wore tracksuits with sleeveless jackets.
