Mr Radmall is also charged with four separate firearms offences which include possession of a Glock pistol, a Scorpion machine pistol, a sub-machine gun and a stun gun for an unlawful purpose at Cecil Street in Limerick, on June 29th last. Garda Ciara Dee told the special sitting of Limerick District Court on Saturday evening that Mr Radmall - who remained silent throughout the brief court hearing - made no reply to any of the charges.

Judge Tom O'Donnell remanded him in custody until July 6th next and he noted that there was no application made for bail.

Meanwhile, a second man arrested in Limerick last Friday morning, after follow-up searches in the St Mary's Park area of the city, also appeared before Saturday evening's special court sitting.
