Two men were remanded in custody by a Dublin court today charged with possession of LSD worth €650,000.
Mr David Coles (33) and Mr Michael Maskell (35) were stopped by drug squad detectives and customs officers at Dublin Port yesterday afternoon, the court heard.
The men, both from Saffron Walden, Essex, were charged at Kilmainham District Court and were remanded into custody to appear before Cloverhill District Court on February 16th.
The court heard that when arrested at Kevin Street Garda Station both men replied: "Nothing to say."

The two men were detained when detectives from the Garda National Drugs Unit stopped a lorry leaving the port yesterday afternoon, the court heard.
