Two men have been arrested in connection with the fatal stabbing of a man (43) outside his Co Kerry home on August 23rd.
Mr Michael Faulkner, a member of the Travelling community and father of six, was stabbed within 100 yards of his home at Mitchel's Crescent in Tralee, and was pronounced dead in Tralee General Hospital a short time later.
The men were arrested at 8 a.m. in Tralee and are being detained for questioning in Tralee Garda Station. One man is in his late forties and the other in his thirties, according to gardaí.
Gardaí declined to say whether the men arrested were involved in a long-standing feud among a number families in the Travelling community.
