Police investigating the murder of a civilian workman at a British Territorial Army camp in Derry today arrested two men.

Police investigating the murder of a civilian workman at a British Territorial Army camp in Derry today arrested two men.

The men were detained following a search of ten homes in the city this morning by detectives probing the murder of Protestant man David Caldwell.

Mr Caldwell, 51, died after he picked up a lunchbox packed with explosives in the Caw Camp on Thursday, August 1st.

Today's arrests bring the total number of people detained to eight. The previous six, five men and one woman, were released without charge.
