Gardai are investigating an incident involving the shooting of two men in Finglas, Dublin, yesterday. One man was shot at Ratoath Drive at 4.35 p.m. and another was shot minutes later at Villa Park. Two motorcycles were used in the incident. The men were taken to James Connolly Memorial Hospital. Gardai have described their injuries as "not life-threatening".
Gardai believe the incident was connected with a local feud between Travellers. The incident occurred when the motorcycles pulled alongside the van carrying the two men and shots were discharged.
