Two men sustained multiple fractures, including a broken back, during a robbery at a Derry hotel early yesterday morning. The incident followed a break-in at the Broomhill Hotel in the Waterside. The men were injured when they jumped 40 ft from a window into the hotel's rear car park. A police spokesman said hotel staff were confronted by three masked men armed with an imitation hand-gun and metal bars. A third man escaped through a lower-level window.
