Two men are being questioned in Tralee over the murder of a man last month.

Two men are being questioned in Tralee over the murder of a man last month.

Eddie Joe Clancy (50) died in Kerry General Hospital on August 15th after he was found with serious head injuries in Bridge Street in Tralee.

The two men, aged 24 and 35, are being held under the provisions of Section 30 Offence against the State Act, 1939 at Tralee and Listowel Garda stations.

Another man (24) was freed without charge last month after being questioned over the murder. A file is being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.
