Two men who were arrested by police in Northern Ireland last night after being arrested in possession of a large quantity of bank notes have been released on police bail.
The men were arrested on Sunday evening after trying to buy small items such as magazines using £100 notes. Police confiscated a total of about £42,000.
Police do not believe there is a connection to the last month's £26.5 million Northern Bank robbery, although police said the incident might be linked with another money-laundering scheme.
