Two people were rescued last night after a light plane crashed into a Northern Ireland lake.
Rescue services were alerted after the aircraft made an emergency landing in Lough Neagh, off Ballyronan, Co Derry.
The RNLI lifeboat on the lake was sent out by coastguards and plucked the two aviators to safety.
They had been clinging to the top of the two seater plane as it floated 300 meters off shore, said a police spokeswoman.
