Two men, aged 18 and 19, have appear in a Dublin District Court this morning, one charged with murder and the other with assault after the death of a man in Tallaght on Thursday night.
Mr Peter Bissett, (23) from Cushlawn Park in Tallaght died after being stabbed in the chest during a row involving a large number of people in the Donaghmore Estate shortly around midnight on Thursday.
The alarm was raised, two ambulances sent to the area and two men were brought to hospital, where Mr Bisset was pronounced dead. The second man, the victim's 18-year-old friend, was released from hospital overnight.
A woman (21) who was being held for questioning as part of the Gardaí murder inquiry was released without charge.
A file has been sent to the Director of Public Prosecutions to decide whether to prosecute. The victim was stabbed just yards from his home.
