Boxer Mike Tyson was last night refused permission to fight British world heavyweight champion Lennox Lewis in Las Vegas in April.
The Nevada State Athletic Commission voted against Tyson being given a licence for the fight, which would have been worth up to Stg£10 million to the convicted rapist.
The move puts the future of the fight in doubt and came after a three-hour meeting in which Tyson said ``I'm crazy'' and made no apology for his brawl with Lewis at a pre-match press conference in New York last week.
The board voted by four to one to refuse his bid to renew his fighting licence and in a series of statements, the commissioners said Tyson wasnot fit to get in the ring.
Dr Amy Ayoub, one of the commissioners, said: ``We will not tolerate that kind of behaviour, not in the ring, not in life.''
