Lennox Lewis' hopes of an early rematch with Hasim
Rahman look to be waning after American cable networkShowtime declared that talks aimed at getting MikeTyson a shot at the new world champion are "proceedingnicely".
Lewis' camp insist Rahman is contracted to a secondbout with Britain's former WBC and IBF title holderwithin 150 days of their first encounter in SouthAfrica.
However, money talks in boxing and Showtime supremoJay Larkin has revealed he is negotiating with Rahman'spromoters to put on Tyson-Rahman in July or August.
Tyson has already stated his desire to scrap a planned10-round bout with David Izon on June 2nd in favour ofa showdown with Rahman.
The only good news for Lewis is that Larkin would thenlike to see him take on the winner of that clash.
