Celtic manager Martin O'Neill will learn tomorrow afternoon if UEFA are to ban him from the touchline following his Champions League sending off in Turin.

O’Neill raced almost half the length of the pitch to remonstrate with German referee Hellmut Krug after Juventus had been awarded a 90th-minute penalty that earned them a 3-2 victory.

O'Neill also had a run-in with fourth official Peter Gagelmann after he had been banished from the technical area.

UEFA's control and disciplinary committee will meet tomorrow afternoon to discuss the incident, with a verdict expected at around 4 p.m.

"It could be just a fine or a suspension. What will be taken into account is what has been written in the reports of the referee and the UEFA delegate and the previous record of Mr O'Neill".
