Flights arriving into Irish airports from the United Kingdom have been seriously disrupted today due to heavy fog of English airports.
More than 350 flights from Heathrow airport alone were cancelled today.
Flights from Ireland to Britain have also been affected.
All Irish airports are operating as normal, but passengers are advised to contact their airline for further information.
The flight chaos looks set to continue tomorrow after British Airways said all domestic flights at Heathrow airport and some European services had been cancelled and more planes might be grounded.
The airline said severe fog was expected to last for another 48 hours and forecasters at the Met Office warned there was a risk of fog hanging over the southeast of England during the Christmas period, continuing to next week.
