A blast at a coal mine in eastern Ukraine killed at least 16 miners last night.
Two miners were injured and 10 people were still unaccounted for after the explosion which occurred just before 11pm in the Suhodilsk-Eastern mine in the Luhansk region.
The blast happened at a depth of 915m, the country's emergencies ministry said in a statement.
Investigators are working to establish the cause of the explosion.
