The United Nations confirmed Iraq destroyed three more al-Samoud missiles on Tuesday to head off a possible US-led invasion to disarm it by force.
Iraq has now scrapped 19 al-Samoud missiles, whose range exceeds the 93-mile limit allowed by UN resolutions.
Mr Hiro Ueki, spokesman for UN inspectors in Baghdad, said Iraqi weapons experts scrapped the missiles under the supervision of UN experts. Another al-Samoud launcher and five engines were also destroyed.
Baghdad began to destroy some 120 missiles on Saturday, meeting a key UN deadline.
An Iraqi Information Ministry official said the destruction was taking place at the Taji military air base, north of the capital.
UN chief weapons inspector Mr Hans Blix is due to report to the UN Security Council on Friday on Iraqi compliance.
