Lisbon - Suspected UNITA guerrillas have killed at least 25 people, including 10 policemen, and wounded many more in an attack on a train in western Angola, Portugal's Renascenca radio reported yesterday.
In a report from Luanda, Renascenca said the attack occurred on Sunday near Canjala, some 80km from the western port city of Benguela in the former Portuguese colony.
Portugal's RDP state radio reported that 11 people had died when a convoy of lorries was ambushed, also near Benguela. RDP did not say when the attack occurred and it was possible the two reports were referring to the same incident.
