Arsenal 2 Leeds 3
Mark Viduka became the hero of both Elland Road and Old Trafford with a last-gasp winner as Arsenal handed Manchester United the Premiership title on a plate by crashing to a 3-2 defeat against Leeds.
Arsenal twice hauled themselves back into contention, with Thierry Henry equalising Harry Kewell's early opener and Dennis Bergkamp levelling again after Ian Harte's free-kick had been deflected in.
However, while Arsenal hit the woodwork on three occasions, Viduka struck the late winner to not only confirm Manchester United as champions but also Leeds' Premiership safety.
Arsenal had to take risks, with Seaman having to produce an inspirational save to deny Kewell from the edge of the penalty area but that was merely the prelude to an incredible final spell.
After one flowing move, Henry curled a shot against the foot of the far post and on came Jermaine Pennant to replace Wiltord.
He was soon joined by Giovanni van Bronckhorst, while Leeds strengthened their midfield with Simon Johnson replacing Kewell.
The tension was unbelievable as Bergkamp was just inches away from sliding in to connect with Cole's low cross.
However, Arsenal were finally undone on the break as Viduka was left in the clear to curl his shot past Seaman. Leeds were safe, and so were Manchester United.
