Manchester United today shrugged off transfer talk linking Ryan Giggs with a move to Italian side Inter Milan.
Inter president Massimo Moratti said yesterday his club would table a bid for the Welsh winger this summer.
But Manchester chief executive Peter Kenyon dismissed suggestions of a move. "Transfer talk seems to start earlier every year. It's too soon to say whether we would even consider a bid, and all we want to do at the moment is concentrate on this season," he said.
Manager Alex Ferguson refused to be drawn on the issue and remained focused on tomorrow's Champions League clash with Juventus in Turin.
"We only need a point to take us into the second phase - but we would prefer to finish top of the group," Ferguson said.
"Last Wednesday's game against them was fantastic, and if it gets to that level the spectators are in for a fantastic evening".
England duo Wes Brown and Paul Scholes both miss the trip with respective hamstring and groin injuries, but defender Mikael Silvestre is fit after missing Saturday's draw at Bolton with an ankle injury.
Juventus expect to welcome back Gianluigi Buffon, Lilian Thuram and Marco di Vaio after bouts of flu.
