Premier League chief executive Richard Scudamore insists there is "no question" Manchester United will receive the championship trophy at Goodison Park.
Everton officials have expressed concerns about United collecting the title at some stage at Goodison on Sunday. They are worried it may attract ticketless Red Devils fans to travel to Merseyside and also infringe on the Toffees' celebrations.
David Moyes's side can guarantee a UEFA Cup place if they beat Alex Ferguson's team. A spokesman for Everton declared the final decision rests with the club's safety officer, but Scudamore made it clear the presentation would go ahead at Goodison.
Scudamore said: "We have obligations to our sponsors and to our television partners to which Everton put their name.
"There is no question. The trophy will be presented at Everton at some stage on Sunday afternoon. I do not believe there is a safety issue. I am quite certain that the whole occasion can be safely policed".
