US firm SunGard has bought Dublin-based 365 Hosting Limited for an undisclosed sum, it was announced today.
The Irish company, which provides cloud computing and data centre services, trades as Hosting 365. It management welcomed the acquisition today, saying the addition of SunGard’s solutions to its portfolio of services would benefit its customers’.
The privately-owned firm began providing hosted services in 2001 and has two secure data centres in Dublin.
UK managing director of SunGard Availability Services Keith Tilley said the deal would have major benefits for both parties.
