The US Masters will break with tradition in 2002 by televising all 18 holes of the leaders' final round, officials announced on Thursday.

In the past, coverage of the final round began in the middle of the front nine with only highlights of the earlier holes shown.

But the tournament broadcast is now being extended by 90 minutes on Sunday to start at 14:30 EDT (18:30 GMT) and end at the usual sign-off time of 1900.

Saturday's coverage will also begin half-an-hour earlier than usual at 15:30 EDT.
