The US member of the International Commission on Decommissioning, Ambassador Donald C. Johnson, has decided to resign and will be replaced by Mr Andrew Sens, a senior US State Department official.
Mr Johnson has served on the commission since it was established in September 1997 and is resigning for "career reasons".
