US rock group Bon Jovi will play a concert in Dublin next year as part of a major world tour.

US rock group Bon Jovi will play a concert in Dublin next year as part of a major world tour.

The band confirmed they will play Croke Park on Saturday, May 20th, 2006 as they travel across several continents for their 'Have a Nice Day World Tour'.

Tickets for Bon Jovi, who have had a string of hits including, Living on a Prayer, It's My Lifeand Bad Medicine, are limited to six per person and go on sale on Friday, October 7th, priced from €61.50.

Since forming in 1984, the band have performed more than 2,500 concerts in 50 countries before more than 32 million people. Bon Jovi's first tour since 2003, which saw them play Dublin's Lansdowne Road venue, will kick-off in the US in November.
