Melissa Lehman, wife of US Ryder Cup team captain Tom Lehman, was not giving anything away yesterday about what the wives and girlfriends would be wearing during the tournament.
The US women traditionally dress alike for the duration of the event in a gesture of support for their partners.
In short, black-belted raincoat and knee-high boots, Ms Lehman said that they were all looking forward to visiting the K Club.
"We will be having a calm time and staying with our families." She joked she would be imposing a curfew on the players' partners during the event.
