ANYONE who likes to use their head to find an interesting loaf should visit Kim Condon's deli in Rathgar, Dublin 6, on Saturday June 14th when Ms Condon is organising a tasting of the very interesting Manoucher breads, from Toronto.

The Manoucher breads are made by exiled Iranian Manoucher Etminan, and are to be found in many prestigious stores worldwide. Mr Etminan will be there on the day to explain the philosophy behind his breads, and the reasons and stories behind creating breads such as his Mediterranean Sunset Loaf. The breads are made in Canada and then flown2 frozen, all over the globe. To compliment the breads, there will be barbecued Hicks sausages, flavoured oils from Miriam Griffiths's Olvi company, and wines from Evelyn Jones's excellent Vintry wine shop, a few doors up from Condon's. Not to be missed.
