The mother of an RUC constable shot dead in the centre of Derry three years ago yesterday criticised the Mitchell report's recommendation of an amnesty for anyone who handed over paramilitary weapons.
Mrs Kathleen Ferguson, whose 21 year old son, Michael, was shot by the IRA in January 1993, also said the International Body's proposal that paramilitary weapons should not be forensically tested was totally unacceptable to her.
