April 26th, 2008: The bodies of Diarmuid Flood, his wife Lorraine and their two children Mark (6) and Julie (5) were found by Enniscorthy Fire Brigade when its members were called to a house fire in Clonroche, Co Wexford.

A coroner’s court jury returned verdicts of unlawful killing in the deaths of Lorraine (38) and the two children, and a verdict of suicide in the death of the children’s 41-year-old father.

November 13th, 2007: Arthur McElhill started a house fire that killed him, his partner Lorraine McGovern and their five young children, aged from nine months to 13 years, at Lammy Crescent in Omagh, Co Tyrone.

The inquest heard that he set fire to the house because he believed his partner may have intended to leave him.

April 23rd, 2007:Adrian Dunne, his wife Ciara O'Brien and their two children Leanne (5) and Shania (3) were found dead in their home in Monageer, Co Wexford.

The inquest into the deaths returned a verdict of unlawful killing in relation to Ciara O’Brien and her two children, and found that Adrian Dunne died by suicide.

April 17th, 2005:The bodies of Sharon Grace (28), Mikahla (4) and Abby (3) from Barntown, Co Wexford, were spotted by part- time fishermen in the Kaats Strand area of the river Slaney. A coroner's court jury returned a verdict of death by drowning.

July 28th, 2001:The bodies of Debbie Fox and her sons, Trevor (9) and Cillian (7) were discovered at their home in Castledaly, Co Westmeath. They had been killed by Fox's husband Gregory, the father of the children. He was jailed for life at the Central Criminal Court in November 2003.
