Geraldine, Ireland, please vote Yes in the Nice Treaty. The future of my country depends on your decision.

If the Irish people once again reject Nice, they will be saying that they will tolerate no further erosion of Irish sovereignty and neutrality. Also they will be making it clear that they are not in favour of the creation of a two-tier Europe consigning the smaller states, including Ireland, along with the 10 applicant countries, to second-class membership. This may be our last chance to influence the future development of Europe; use it wisely and vote No.

As Russia continues to be an area of instable and doubtful "democracy", the re-establishment of something like "Soviet Union" is still possible. In this situation a No vote can lead to a new slavery for millions.

Hello, I come from Slovakia, a country that is to be decided about in the referendum. Please vote No. We do not want to join the EU. You are not independent any more; please do not do the same to us. Thank you very much. You were wise once, be also next time.

Mikulass, Slovakia

I understand why many people feel upset and aggrieved by the lies they were given during the general election. However, this vote is too important to be influenced by emotion. It must be decided on the facts. If, having deliberated over the facts, you still believe you should vote No then please do so. I believe the facts must compel you to vote Yes.
