German Jens Voigt won the 230 kilometre 13th stage of the Tour de France from Beziers to Montelimar today.
The CSC rider outsprinted fellow Oscar Pereiro Sio of Spain in the final few metres. Frenchman Sylvain Chavanel took third place, 40 seconds behind, and Italian Manuel Quinziato was fourth.
Yellow jersey holder Floyd Landis was still riding in the bunch, 28 minutes and 39 seconds back, when Voigt crossed the line.
Pereiro Sio started the day 46th overall, 28:50 adrift of American Landis. Tomorrow's 14th stage will lead the peloton over 180.5km from Montelimar to Gap.
