Holders Bohemians face a tricky home tie against cup specialists Bray Wanderers in the quarter-finals of the FAI Carlsberg Cup.

Stephen Kenny’s side have struggled to find their championship winning form of last season and target the FAI Cup as their only chance of trophy success this year.

It will be the third time in as many year's that the two clubs have met in the cup and Bray are sure to put the Dalymount club to the test as they seek revenge for past battles.

The semi-final clash in 2000 was dogged in controversy after Bohemians objected to Bray playing striker Jason Byrne amid a suspension dispute.

Last year, Bray had manager Pat Devlin banished to the stands as well as two players sent off after losing out 2-1 in a highly charged Dalymount Park encounter.

"This is definitely a grudge match, especially after last year. It will be a great game though," said Bray Wanderers player and assistant manager Paul Keegan on RTE News.

Bray were deserving 2-0 winners over Dublin City in the last round. In form striker Jason Byrne netted twice at Whitehall to bring his tally to four goals in two games.

Bohemians had little problem by-passing first division strugglers Cobh Ramblers in their third round tie. Glen Crowe and Trevor Molloy proving the difference in a comfortable 2-0 victory.

Shamrock Rovers boast a fine record in this competition - they are seeking their 25th FAI Cup - and have been drawn at home to first division Sligo Rovers.

Damien Richardson’s side were comfortable 4-1 winners over Monaghan United in the last round but should approach this fixture with caution as Sligo are a rejuvenated team under former Galway United manager Don O’Riordan.

Finn Harps were surprising 2-1 winners over Shelbourne at Ballybofey last weekend and have been drawn away to Martin Murray’s Dundalk.

UCD are enjoying a marvelous season under player manager Paul Doolin and will host the winners of Sunday’s third round replay between Derry City and St Kevin’s Boys.
