Gardaí in Co Meath are warning about the circulation of dangerous prescription drugs following a robbery at a pharmacy in Dunboyne this morning.
A large quantity of drugs were stolen the burglary at a pharmacy on the Navan Road at 6.20 a.m.
The medicines were in a safe which also contained cash. The safe was taken when thieves rammed the front door of the pharmacy with a maroon coloured jeep.
In a follow up search gardai found the safe minus its contents at Linnitsfield Estate, Clonee.

"The drugs, if taken without prescriptions, are described as very dangerous," a Garda spokesman said.
