Jakarta - Prosecutors in East Timor have asked Indonesian authorities to hand over the former militia chief, Mr Eurico Guterres, for trial over the killings of refugees in April last year, a UN official said yesterday. But at least one official in Jakarta has already hinted the request will be rejected. A spokesman for the Attorney General's Office said it would be "difficult" to fulfil the warrant because Mr Guterres is already under investigation by Indonesian authorities.
