FESTIVAL WATCH TRALEE RACES: THE TRALEE Races begin tomorrow and will run until Saturday August 23rd

FESTIVAL WATCH TRALEE RACES:THE TRALEE Races begin tomorrow and will run until Saturday August 23rd. Races include The Kerryman Ruby Stakes, and, what is considered the highlight of the event, the Jimmy Barry Memorial Premier Handicap.

Organisers claim the weather will have no major effect and events are set to go ahead as planned.

Racing isn't the only source of entertainment. The Tralee Races offer music during and after the races. On Wednesday, there will be a mother and daughter competition, followed by a ladies' competition on Thursday. On Saturday, all proceeds go to charity. Up to 30,000 people are expected to attend the five-day event.

Admission to the races starts at €18 for adults, €10 for pensioners and is free for children under 14.
