GAA NHL Round-up:There were wins for Cork and Galway but Waterford and Dublin couldn't be separated at Walsh Park after today's action in the Allianz League Division 1.

An enthralling encounter saw Waterford and Dublin share the spoils, 3-16 to 2-19, as scores flew in from everywhere all afternoon.

The visitors first goal came from Declan O'Dwyer as Dublin looked to be in control with earlier scores Conal Keaney and Liam Rushe, but Richie Foley and Shane Casey responded for Waterford.

Further points were traded through Conor McCormack and Keaney for Dublin but, yet again, Waterford had answers with Foley and Pauric Maloney tipping away for the hosts.

Foley then found the net in the 27th minute. As Dublin's points kept coming Seamus Prendergast scored a second goal for Waterford for Dublin to hold a narrow 1-14 to 2-07 lead at the break.

Waterford were by far the better side in the third quarter, keeping their opponents scoreless for over 20 minutes before David O'Callaghan made the breakthrough.

Foley got in for Waterford's third goal and it looked like they would go on to win. However O'Callaghan found the net for Dublin and a draw seemed a fair result after an absorbing game.

Cork finished strongly and scored four of the last six points to get the better of Offaly 1-20 to 1-15 in what was an otherwise even contest at Pairc Ui Chaoimh.

Tom Kenny scored the Rebels’ goal in the opening minute, while Colin Egan responded with the Offaly goal.

Cork held a narrow 1-12 to 1-11 at the break before crucial scores from Pat Horgan, Jerry and Ben O'Connor and Pa Cronin ensured the Cork win.

An under strength Wexford were no match on the day for Galway, who ran out 1-14 to 0-06 winners at Pearse Stadium.

Ger Farragher enjoyed a 0-11 personal tally with Aonghas Callanhan finding the net for Galway in the 49th minute.

So limited were Wexford they only managed two points all game from open play.
