Gardaí have confirmed they are investigating an alleged fraud at the Waterford GAA county board.
A Garda spokeswoman said no arrests had been made in the investigation so far.
It is believed the fraud involves the alleged misappropriation of €142,000 in All-Ireland ticket sales and that a senior GAA official has resigned.
A spokesman for GAA headquarters in Croke Park was aware of the reports but refused to comment on them.
