Waterford, Killarney to get 150 new jobs

Some 150 new jobs have been announced by the Tánaiste for Killarney and Waterford, in investments by three multinationals.

In Killarney, Dollinger has unveiled plans for a €1.1 million global production centre, creating 70 new jobs over the next four years. Liebherr Container Cranes is to base a six-member research and development team in the town.

In Waterford, Upiqus is to open a centre for "high value" report writing for conferences and seminars. Around 70 staff will be employed over five years. Eighty per cent of the jobs will be at graduate level.
